About Me
I’m Kristi. This blog reflects my explorations of living a simpler life focused more on family and friends. I live with my husband and two sons. We are incredibly fortunate to be able to share our time between our beautiful acreage in eastern Ontario and our farm on Cape Breton Island. Four dogs, a cat, and a lizard make up the rest of our household.
Kristi is a dear friend and anything she puts on this blog will be worth pondering. Love ya babe.

Thanks for an interesting blog. I like your balanced view of these signs, some positive, and some not so positive. About the first sign, I think that there is a general belief, not only in China, that the blind people are better massagers than those that can see. They can be more attentive and focused since they will not be diverted by other things that happened around them. I cannot testify this as I have never been massaged by a blind massager! My friend did have one in Shanghai and his comment was “wonderful”.

Your comments on the blind massage make sense! I had never thought about it that way. Thanks for visiting. 🙂

45 acres that would be amazing to have that much land. I have 3 dogs and 3 cats in the city and a small lot.To focus on family and friends, that is the most important… It makes life so much better… robbie:-)

It makes me think you could do a really cool series of different takes on that plant, since it’s right there at your door. Blurry, sharp, from above & below, single, group, etc. etc.

Love the header image, Kristi – the bridge leading to Castel Sant’Angelo, Rome? I walked it both at night and day – brings back great memories… Great shot!
